The concert titled ‘Music of the Seas’ brought to our shores dance rhythms from Cuba & Jamaica with Multi award winning 11 piece band SKA CUBANO and opening act by local group Havana Sessions!

The concert took place on Friday, 15th of October at 8pm at the Dasoudi Beach, Yermasoyia, Limassol. Admission was Free to the public!!

Due to popular demand, Balkan Legend, Sarajevo-born Goran Bregovic performed at the Limassol Municipal Gardens Theatre on the 28th of July and at the Pattichion Municipal Amphitheatre in Larnaca on the 29th of July within the framework of the Larnaca Festival 2010. Along with the world renowned Wedding & Funeral Band he presented his latest project ‘Alcohol Tour’ in two concerts that where the highlights of this years musical events on the island!

As part of her 2005 World Tour ‘Ulysses’, the multiple award-winning Portuguese star, widely considered to be the best Fado vocalist in the world, performed a stunning inspirational concert, unleashing her mesmerizing voice that resonated with the audience with passion and purity. Singing with the most renowned Fado ensemble in the world, her absolutely unique style of blending Fado with other genres has given her the title of the Fado princess.

As a result of the triumphant success of this concert and due to public demand, Branco was brought back to the island for two more concerts in February 2006, once more placing Cyprus on the map of indispensable destinations for international musicians.
